Pbso Looking For This Man Accused Of Check Fraud 1

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — PBSO tells Boca Post that they are looking for a suspect reportedly using debit cards funded by fraudulent checks in the Boynton Beach and Lake Worth Beach areas.

On February 4th, 2022, an unknown suspect allegedly funded debit cards at local ATMs and then used the associated debit cards at area shops.

A PBSO spokesperson has provided the following statement regarding these incidents:

PBSO detectives are looking for a suspect wanted for using fraudulent checks and unauthorized debit card usages in the City of Lake Worth Beach and Boynton Beach.  The same suspect was captured depositing checks at an ATM in Boynton Beach that were deemed altered/fictitious.  The victim suffered a loss of over $ 32,000.  The suspect was seen driving a gray Hyundai sedan.

 

The above incidents occurred on February 4, 2022.
