Ricki Greenblatt Passes Away After Deadly Boynton Beach Crash

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that they are investigating an accident involving a fatality after one car pulled out in front of another on Hagen Ranch Road last month.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that at approximately 6:41 PM on Friday, September 2nd, 2022, deputies responded to the area of 12335 Hagen Ranch Road in western Boynton Beach in reference to a two-vehicle accident.

PBSO Traffic Homicide Unit detectives were notified and began an investigation into the incident. Detectives tell us that 98-year-old Ricki Greenblatt, of Boynton Beach, was exiting the plaza at 12335 Hagen Ranch Rd (eastbound). At the same time, Susanne Green, of Delray Beach, was traveling southbound on Hagen Ranch Rd in the outside lane. Investigators say that Greenblatt pulled out in front of Green, causing a collision.

The front of Green’s Volkswagen Jetta impacted the driver’s side of Greenblatt’s Honda CR-V causing it to be redirected southeast where it came to rest on the east side of Hagen Ranch Rd.

All occupants were transported to Delray Medical Center for their injuries. Unfortunately, Ricki Greenblatt passed away a month later as a result of her injuries from the crash.
