BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — A Boca Raton-based culinary event company is serving up something special for the city’s 100th birthday.

Savor Our City™, founded by longtime local Denise Righetti, will host Savor Boca – A Centennial Celebration on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Downtown Boca Raton. The one-day event features two experiences — a morning scavenger hunt and an afternoon tasting tour — all tied to Boca Raton’s centennial year.

The Historical Scavenger Hunt runs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with check-in starting at 10 a.m. at the south end of Mizner Park, in the center, near Starbucks. There, teams of 6-8 will register to compete for great prizes & bragging rights. Don’t have a team? No worries, Savor Our City will match you with some other hunters where you’ll be able to make new friends. Tickets are $35 per person, according to Savor Our City.

Later in the day, the Centennial Tasting Tour runs from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., featuring stops at 10+ restaurants and specialty shops in and around Mizner Park. Participants will sample small bites and themed cocktails from each decade — the 1920s through the 2020s — with non alcoholic sips available at select locations. Tickets are $75 per person, or $100 for a combo pack that covers both events.

A $150 VIP option includes elevated tastings and full sized cocktails at 4 restaurants with chef visits & stories behind the flavors.

“It’s the perfect holiday outing for companies, a thoughtful client appreciation gift, or a chance for individuals to meet new people while exploring the city in a fun and meaningful way,” said Righetti, Savor Our City’s Founder and Chief Foodie Officer.

A portion of proceeds will benefit Brain Bowl Events, a Boca-based nonprofit supporting Alzheimer’s research and awareness.

Savor Our City™ is also seeking sponsors, community partners, and volunteers to join the event. Registration and details are available at www.savorboca.com.
