Kylee Renee Ahana-Jamile, 31, Passed Away

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — 31-year-old Kylee Renee Ahana-Jamile was struck by a pickup truck and killed in unincorporated Boca Raton.

The deadly accident happened at US-441 and Palmetto Park Road just before 9:45 PM on Friday, March 22nd, 2024.

Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies were called to a situation near the crossing of Palmetto Park Road and State Road 7 where a person was seen walking onto the road in an unusual manner. The individual, later identified as Kylee Renee Ahana-Jamile, 31 years old, was wearing dark clothes (a black shirt and jean shorts) and sat down in the turn lane on the outer side of westbound Palmetto Park Road just before the accident occurred.

A pickup truck driver was heading west on Palmetto Park Road in the left turn lane on the outer side, approaching State Road 7 with a green light.

As the truck approached the intersection, the driver didn't see Ahana-Jamile in time to avoid a collision. Despite applying brakes upon noticing her presence, the front of the truck hit Ahana-Jamile and she was pushed under it.

Emergency responders from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue arrived at the scene and declared Ahana-Jamile deceased.
