Boca Raton Man Previously Accused Of Threatening To Bomb Fau, Arrested Again – Robert Sagall

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton man has been arrested and charged with many serious charges around making threats of violence and intimidating others, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Robert Sagall, 25, of 4600 NW 26th Way in Boca Raton, has been arrested early Wednesday morning by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office. Boca Post has been notified that the charges include “INTIMIDATION – WRITTEN/ELEC THREAT TO KILL BODILY HARM ANOTHER”, “THREAT TO BOMB – THREATEN DISCHARGE DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE”, and “AGGRAV STALKING – FOLLOW HARASS CYBERSTALK CRED THREAT TO PERSON”.

This isn’t the first time Sagall has been charged with bomb threats. In 2020, Sagall was arrested for making bomb threats against FAU as well as threatening a local real estate agent who was sending him marketing e-mails.

All of the charges were later dropped thanks to Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office, who eventually dropped all charges in exchange for Sagall entering into an agreement with the state. Less than a year after that case was dropped, Sagall is arrested on similar charges.

The same victim from the original arrest in 2020 has allegedly received similar text messages from Sagall again. The victim thinks that Sagall is at it again because he was angry that his recent request to have his records expunged was denied by the State Attorney’s office. The victim tells investigators that there has been no contact until the recent threatening messages.

Investigators spoke to Sagall who has been very evasive, according to the arrest affidavit.

Sagall was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 6:46 on Wednesday morning. According to court records, PBSO has filed a temp exparte risk protection order for the safety of Sagall and potentially many others.

Sagall has been charged with the following charges:

  • 4 counts of 836.10(2A) WRITTEN THREATS TO KILL OR DO BODILY INJURY
  • 790.162 THREAT TO THROW, PLACE OR DISCHARGE ANY DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE
  • 784.048(3) AGGRAVATED STALKING
