Mayor Singer discussed the importance of the museum among a group of local children as they showed interest during the three-day special preview weekend.

Post-renovation, the museum has added several new exhibits for their patrons – including a completed Boca Raton Timeline, a Pioneer Gallery to highlight farming heritage in the area, an Addison Mizner Gallery dedicated to the architect and several works, a World War II Gallery memorializing the Boca Raton Army Airfield, and an IBM Gallery celebrating the development of the IBM PC.

The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum is dedicated to collect, preserve, and present information regarding the history and influence of Boca Raton.

The museum remains open Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
