BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — Boca Raton Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery incident that happened in the Town Center Mall parking lot.

Boca Raton Police Officers responded to the Town Center Mall parking lot. just after 5 p.m yesterday evening in response to a strong-arm robbery.

According to Police, a woman was walking toward the mall when she was approached by a thin-build black male who then began pulling her purse off her shoulder. After a brief struggle, the suspect fled with the purse towards Butts Road. Luckily, the victim is not injured.

Police say the man was wearing a red sweatshirt and jeans. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect. Investigators later determined that the suspect was driving a black 2013-2017 Honda Accord without a license plate (pictured).
