POLICE: Attempted Robbery Town Center At Boca Raton

Boca Raton Police are investigating an attempted robbery that happened in the parking lot of Town Center at Boca Raton yesterday.

BOCA RATON, FL — Boca Raton Police are investigating an attempted robbery that happened in the parking lot of Town Center at Boca Raton yesterday.

The robbery suspect is seen below:

Boca Raton Police have issued the following statement on Monday, December 30th, 2024:

Just after 4:30 p.m. yesterday, Boca Raton Police responded to an attempted
robbery in the east parking lot at 6000 W Glades Road. As the victim was walking towards her
vehicle from the mall with a shopping bag, the suspect approached and pepper-sprayed the
victim before pulling at the handle of her shopping bag. A struggle ensued and the suspect fled
on foot without possession of the bag. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a white female of average height, approximately 30 to 50 years old,
with brown hair. She was wearing a light-colored shirt and dark pants. Officers conducted a
search of the area and the suspect was not located. At this point in the investigation, it appears
the victim was followed out of a department store after purchasing a luxury handbag.
