BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton woman was attacked and robbed at the CVS on Camino Real in Boca Raton on Tuesday night.

At about 7:30 PM on Tuesday evening, May 3rd, 2022, a woman was approached by a homeless man in the CVS near Camino Real and S. Dixie Highway. The man, later identified as Myquavais Singletary, approached the woman and later snatched the bag of CVS items out of her hand.

The woman approached Singletary at the self-checkout and he then reportedly got into her face which caused her to be in fear for her life. Singletary then pushed her in her stomach area. The woman then walked away as she was overwhelmed. Singletary then reportedly left the store and walked away on foot.

Boca Raton police responded to the area and apprehended Singletary who was later arrested for “Robbery – No firearm or weapon”.

When police spoke to Singletary, he admitted that he pushed the woman. Singletary also admitted that the woman “might’ve had one hand on it”, referencing the shopping bag he took from the woman.

According to jail records, Singletary listed 1000 N. Dixie Highway as his home address. That is the address of “Changing Lives Boca Raton”, a homeless shelter in the area.
