Boca Raton’S Britani Campanoli Arrested For Domestic Battery

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton woman is waking up in jail this morning after being charged with battery, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Britani Campanoli, 37, of the Allure apartments on Clint Moore Road in Boca Raton, has been arrested Thursday evening by the Boca Raton Police Department. Boca Post has been notified that the charges filed include “BATTERY – TOUCH OR STRIKE”.

Boca Post has learned that Britani Campanoli is the fiance of Eric Hart, president of REDCON1. While Boca Post cannot yet confirm that Eric Hart is the victim, it is very likely.

According to the arrest report, Boca Raton Police responded to the apartment and found victim 1 who said the two were in the process of moving when he was using his cell phone in front of Campanoli who then demanded to see the phone. The victim gave Campanoli the phone willingly. When the victim asked for the phone back, Campanoli did not return it. The victim then retaliated by grabbing her phone and smashing it.

Then, the victim says Campanoli tried to kick him when he tried to get his phone back. The victim then grabbed Campanoli’s foot when her shoe came off. At that point, the victim was able to retrieve his cell phone. The victim went into the kitchen when Campanoli allegedly threw items at him. The victim reports that Campanoli then came towards him, and grabbed him which left a small laceration near his collarbone. The victim claims he kept his hands up while Campanoli attacked him and then called 911.

Officers spoke to Campanoli who says that the victim was upset with her so he threw her cell phone. She says that he has been abusive to her in the past. Campanoli says that the victim “is big and intimidating”. Campanoli did not give police a viable reason for putting her hands on the victim.

Police say Campanoli was arrested because she grabbed the “big and intimidating” victim for no reason.

For whatever reason, officers did not charge the ‘victim’ with anything. Boca Post has reported previously on Boca Raton Police arresting suspects for damaging cell phones in the past, it is unclear why the ‘victim’ in this case was not arrested.

Boca Post has requested clarification from Boca Police why the ‘victim’ was not arrested for destroying Campanoli’s phone. Mark Economou, Public Information Manager for Boca Raton Police Department, tells Boca Post that Campanoli did not want to press charges against the ‘victim’ for destroying her phone.

Campanoli was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 10:52 on Thursday evening where she remains as he is awaiting her first appearance later this morning.
