Boca Raton starts the day on the warm side again, and for most neighborhoods it’s a fairly quiet weather day — a lot of sun, a little passing cloud cover, and only a small chance of a quick shower.
Through the early morning hours, the National Weather Service forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with a low around 71 and a 20 percent chance of showers. Winds are out of the southeast near 10 mph, which is enough to keep the air moving along the I-95 corridor and near the Intracoastal, but not enough to feel harsh.
By daytime, conditions trend brighter. Saturday is forecast to be sunny with a high near 79, still with a 20 percent chance of showers. Southeast winds pick up slightly, around 11 mph. In practical terms, most of Boca will stay dry — but the setup favors the kind of brief, hit-or-miss shower you might catch driving along Glades Road or crossing between the beachside neighborhoods and the western suburbs.
The broader pattern helps explain why. Forecasters describe an area of high pressure stretched from the western Atlantic across Florida, while a front remains parked farther west over the Mississippi Delta region. That front gradually pushes east, and as South Florida sits on the warm side of the setup, low-level moisture continues to feed in. The weather service notes that coastal convergence later today — as the sea breeze develops — could spark a few stray showers along the East Coast metro area. That’s why rain chances have been nudged up into the 15–20 percent range.
Saturday night stays mild. The forecast keeps a 20 percent chance of showers before 11 p.m., then partly cloudy skies and a low around 68. Southeast winds run 5 to 7 mph early, fading to calm after midnight.

North winds increase to 10 to 18 mph with gusts up to 25 mph — a breezy night, especially in exposed areas and closer to the coast.
Monday: Cooler and breezy, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 74. Northeast winds 14 to 17 mph with gusts as high as 23 mph. Monday night holds onto clouds and a slight (20 percent) chance of showers, low around 66, with northeast winds 11 to 14 mph and gusts up to 18 mph.
Tuesday: A similar theme: partly sunny with a high near 75 and a 20 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m. Northeast winds 11 to 13 mph. Tuesday night stays mostly cloudy with a low around 66 and a 20 percent chance of showers after 1 a.m., with east winds 8 to 13 mph.
Wednesday: Rain chances rise midweek. The forecast calls for a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a partly sunny sky and a high near 77. Wednesday night keeps a 40 percent chance of showers, mostly cloudy, with a low around 61.
Thursday: Another unsettled day, with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and a high near 74. Breezy conditions are expected. Thursday night trends drier and cooler: a 20 percent chance of showers, partly cloudy skies, a low near 49, and continued breezy winds.
Friday: Clearer and cooler to finish the week, with sunny skies and a high near 67.
Boca Boating
Along the water, the marine forecast underscores the biggest impact from this front: conditions deteriorate quickly late Sunday into early next week. For the coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach, winds today run southeast 10 to 15 knots with seas 2 to 3 feet and a slight chance of showers. Tonight eases a bit, with seas dropping to around 2 feet then 1 foot or less and lighter winds.
Sunday remains relatively manageable early, but by Sunday night the forecast turns rough: north winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots, and seas building dramatically — from 2 to 4 feet (occasionally 5) to 5 to 8 feet (occasionally 10) after midnight. Monday stays hazardous, with northeast winds 20 to 25 knots early and seas 6 to 9 feet, occasionally to 11 feet, before winds begin easing later. Choppy to rough intracoastal conditions are expected in exposed areas during the worst of it.
The weather service notes that shower chances increase later Sunday into early next week as the front moves in, and that the same system could bring hazardous boating conditions as winds and seas rise.
