BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — Boca Raton Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at Walgreens on on Monday evening.

Boca Raton Police responded to the Walgreens on the 1000 block of SW 2nd Avenue after an armed robbery call came in last night at 11:00 p.m. An unknown male suspect entered the store and approached a cashier, brandishing a black semi-automatic firearm, demanding money. Then, he was seen leaving the store with the register tray.

The suspect is described as a black male with an average build, about 5’5-5’-6 tall, mid-late 20’s. Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray jeans, black shoes, and a black mask and gloves.
