Today's Weather - Tuesday, March 10, 2026

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Sunshine is in control today with a high near 81 and an east breeze around 5 to 11 mph. Tonight stays mostly clear and mild, with a low near 72 and an onshore wind near 8 mph. The ocean breeze will be noticeable at the beach, and the rip current risk remains elevated along the Atlantic coast. Rain chances stay very low through Wednesday before a gradual uptick late Thursday into the weekend

Boca Raton is set up for a classic early-spring stretch of warm, mostly dry weather to start the week. The National Weather Service notes high pressure is sliding over the Florida Peninsula through mid-week while a stronger ridge of warmer air aloft builds in at the same time.

In plain terms, that combination acts like a lid on the atmosphere, making it harder for clouds to grow tall enough to produce showers. Another reason today and Wednesday look quiet is that the air overhead is drying out compared to the last couple of days.

With less moisture available, even the usual afternoon sea-breeze pattern is unlikely to spark more than an isolated shower, and most places will stay rain-free. For Boca Raton specifically, the day-to-day impacts are straightforward: plenty of sun, warm afternoons, and mild nights.

The local point forecast calls for a high near 81 today with an east wind, then another sunny day Wednesday with a southeast breeze that may gust near 18 mph. Late week brings a change in the pattern, but not a dramatic one.

Boaters and beachgoers can expect generally manageable marine conditions through mid-week, with east winds around 5 to 10 knots today and seas near 2 feet off the Boca Raton coast. Winds turn more southeast and increase to about 10 to 15 knots Wednesday, which can make the Intracoastal choppier at times.

Late week, winds trend southerly, and showers and thunderstorms become more likely Thursday night into Friday. Seas may build to 4 to 6 feet offshore Friday night into Saturday (occasionally higher), especially near storms.

The NWS continues to flag an elevated rip current risk for Atlantic beaches through at least mid-week—use extra caution if entering the surf.
