Today's Weather - Monday, March 23, 2026

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Sunny skies will dominate Boca Raton today, with a high near 81 and a light west breeze that turns easterly during the afternoon. The air stays notably dry, which helps keep mornings comfortable but can raise fire concerns away from the coast. Tonight looks clear and mild, with lows near 62. If you’re heading to the beach, a moderate rip current risk continues today for Palm Beach and Broward beaches

Monday, March 23, 2026 brings another quiet, bright day across Boca Raton as high pressure remains the main weather player over South Florida. The National Weather Service notes a very dry air mass in place, including dry air just above the surface, which is a big reason we’re expecting wall-to-wall sunshine and essentially no rain today or Tuesday.

Winds stay light overall. Early today, a gentle west breeze is expected, then the typical afternoon sea breeze develops and turns winds more easterly.

That onshore shift can make the coast feel a touch more comfortable later in the day, but the bigger story is the low humidity. The forecast discussion highlights low relative humidity continuing for the next couple of days, which can dry out vegetation quickly—especially inland—so use extra care with anything that could spark a fire.

Temperatures continue a gradual warm-up through the work week. With very limited cloud cover, the sun will do its job efficiently, pushing Boca Raton into the low 80s this afternoon and again Tuesday.

Boating conditions stay generally manageable today with light winds and seas around 2 feet off the Boca Raton area waters (Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach). Winds run 5–10 knots, shifting from west to north later today, then turning southeast tonight.

Seas remain near 2 feet through Tuesday, but the marine forecast shows a notable uptick Tuesday night into Wednesday, with seas building to 4–6 feet (occasionally higher) and an easterly flow. Beachgoers should also factor in the National Weather Service call for a moderate rip current risk today for Palm Beach and Broward beaches—swim near lifeguards and avoid venturing out alone.
