Charles Minutolo Of Addison Place Arrested For Domestic Battery

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton man is waking up in the Palm Beach County Jail this morning after being arrested for simple domestic battery and criminal mischief, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Charles Minutolo, 51, of Mizner Lane in Addison Place, was arrested Monday afternoon by the Boca Raton Police Department. Boca Post has been notified that the charges filed include “784.03(1A1) SIMPLE BATTERY DOMESTIC” and “806.13(4) CRIMINAL MISCHIEF PUBIC PHONE, CABLES, EQUIPMENT, FIXTURE”.

Below is a redacted statement from the arresting officer at the Boca Raton Police Department who responded to the scene:

On 05/16/2022 I responded to in reference to a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. I met with and Charles Minutolo who were arguing when I arrived on scene. Minutolo appeared to be intoxicated, his left cheek was red, and he could barely stand. was upset and had scratches to the left side of her face, her arms and appeared to be intoxicated as well.

I then spoke with Minutolo who advised that he did nothing wrong and just had an argument with after she asked him to come over. Minutolo then advised that she got upset and wanted him to leave and started punching him in the face. Minutolo then stated that noted physical occurred because he didn`t want her to get into trouble. I also asked Minutolo about punching the hood of bearing Fl tag# and he advised that he didn`t do anything to the car. Minutolo kept on saying that had been drinking and doing drugs all night.

I then spoke with who stated that Minutolo came over last night and was drunk. then stated that she didn`t want him to stay due to his level of intoxication when Minutolo got upset and grabbed her in the face and arms
causing injuries to her body. stated that while she was on the phone with BRPD dispatch that`s when Minutolo began hitting himself in the face and she never got physical with him other than pushing Minutolo off her when he
began to get physical. stated that Minutolo let her dog outside and when she went outside to look for her dog that`s when Minutolo punched her causing dents to the hood of approximately $1000. stated that she wanted to pursue charges for the vandalism of her vehicle.

Based on the above information I determined that Charles Minutolo was the primary aggressor and placed him into custody for domestic battery and the vandalism to the vehicle. Charles Minutolo is being charged under F.S.S 784.03(1a1) for domestic battery and under F.S.S 806.13(1b3) for criminal mischief for over $1000. He was
processed at BRPD and then transported to county jail for final disposition. I took pictures of the injuries to both parties, which was placed into evidence at BRPD. signed the Domestic Rights Pamphlet which was forwarded to the front desk at BRPD. I captured the incident on my body worn camera and it was marked and placed into evidence at BRPD.

Minutolo was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 2:49 on Monday afternoon where he remains this morning.
