BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Boca Raton Police issued a traffic advisory after a signal malfunction at Palmetto Park Road and the Interstate 95 southbound exit ramp.

The department’s alert states the traffic light at the Palmetto/I-95 SB exit ramp “is not functioning” and drivers should “seek an alternate route.” The notice was classified as non-emergency.

Palmetto Park Road is a primary east-west corridor through Boca Raton and serves as a key connection to I-95. A disabled signal at the interchange can quickly cause congestion, particularly during peak travel periods.

The advisory did not include a cause for the malfunction or an estimated repair time. Drivers who typically use the southbound exit ramp to access Palmetto Park Road should plan for delays or reroute until the signal is restored.

No road closures were announced in the alert.
