BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — Jude Francois of West Boca Raton has been arrested and charged with several drug charges, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Jude Francois, 28, of the 9000 block of Sandalfoot boulevard in West Boca Raton, has been arrested Friday night by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office.

The arrest comes after an undercover operation PBSO conducted in February of this year. A warrant was filed for the arrest of Francois in April and he was picked up by PBSO last night.

According to the official arrest affidavit submitted by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, an undercover PBSO agent called and texted Jude to negotiate the purchase of 20 Percocet pills for $200. The agent met with Jude at the parking lot of his apartment on Sandalfoot Boulevard in West Boca Raton to purchase the pills.

PBSO chemists tested the drugs and determined that they were actually not Oxycodone. The pills were tested to be a much stronger opioid, Fentanyl. The pills were marked with “10 325” and “RP” on them, which is indicative of Oxycodone. These counterfeit Oxycodone pills made from Fentanyl are much cheaper to make by illegal drug operations and can be deadly to the end users.
