BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton man is facing drug charges, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Sam Malamud, 26, of the San Marco Apartments in Boca Raton, has been arrested Tuesday evening by the Boca Raton Police Department. Boca Post has been notified that the charges filed include 3 counts of “COCAINE-SELL – SCHEDULE II.”

According to an arrest affidavit submitted by the Boca Raton Police Department, Malamud was the subject of an investigation by the department’s Vice, Intelligence, and Narcotics (VIN) unit.

Malamud, who reports his occupation as “unemployed”, allegedly sold undercover BRPD agents 1.8 grams of cocaine for $190 on 3 different occasions.

Last month, the undercover agent reportedly purchased cocaine from Malamud on 3 separate occasions. Each time the cocaine was purchased at a different location in Boca Raton including the Bowlero bowling alley, Hooters, and in the parking lot of San Marco Apartments where Malamud lives.

This is only one of the recent arrests credited to Boca Raton’s VIN unit in recent weeks. Boca Post recently reported on another arrest where an FAU Student Was Arrested For Selling Cocaine And MDMA.
