Lake Worth Golf Cart Passenger Dies After Military Trail Crash, PBSO Says

PBSO says a Lake Worth golf cart passenger died four days after a crash involving a Toyota Camry at Military Trail and Canal Drive.

PBSO says the crash happened at Military Trail and Canal Drive in Lake Worth.

LAKE WORTH, FL — A 73-year-old Lake Worth man died four days after being ejected from a golf cart during a crash with a Toyota Camry at Military Trail and Canal Drive, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

PBSO identified the passenger as Guillermo Lopez. The crash happened at approximately 10:29 a.m. on June 10, 2026. Lopez was pronounced dead at approximately 10:45 a.m. on June 14, 2026, according to the crash report.

According to PBSO’s Traffic Division, a 2017 Toyota Camry driven by Jonathan Fegan, 60, was eastbound on Canal Drive at the intersection of Military Trail and was making a left turn onto northbound Military Trail.

Investigators said a 2013 Club Car golf cart driven by Ana Degrossi, 49, was westbound, exiting the parking lot at 7540 Military Trail. The golf cart was crossing Military Trail to continue westbound on Canal Drive.

As both vehicles entered the median of Military Trail, the front passenger corner of the Toyota Camry collided with the front driver side of the golf cart, according to PBSO.

Lopez was ejected from the golf cart. Degrossi and Lopez were transported by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue to Delray Medical Center. PBSO listed Degrossi’s injuries as minor. Fegan was listed as having no injuries.

No charges were listed in the report provided. The crash remains under review by PBSO’s Traffic Division.
