Delray Square II in Delray Beach is referenced in a Palm Beach County lawsuit alleging a fall on a slick ramp.

DELRAY BEACH, FL — A Delray Beach shopping plaza ramp is now the subject of a Palm Beach County lawsuit.

The complaint alleges Jordan Tonietto slipped and fell on a ramp at Delray Square II, a community shopping center near Atlantic Avenue and South Military Trail in Delray Beach. The lawsuit says the ramp was unreasonably slick, particularly when exposed to rain and ordinary outdoor conditions.

The case, Jordan Tonietto v. ISRAM Delray JV, LLC, et al., was filed June 5, 2026, in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County. The case number is 502026CA006336XXXAMB.

Tonietto sued ISRAM Delray JV, LLC, and Unknown Party #1, according to the complaint. Tonietto is represented by Reinfeld Cabrera Tison, a Coral Springs law firm listed in the filing.

According to the complaint, ISRAM Delray JV owned, co-owned, controlled, possessed, or maintained the parking lot directly outside 14530 South Military Trail, Suite A6-7, in Delray Beach. Isram Realty Group’s property page identifies Delray Square II as a shopping center at 14530 to 14610 South Military Trail and describes it as a roughly 150,000-square-foot community shopping center at the northeast corner of Atlantic Avenue and Military Trail.

The lawsuit alleges Tonietto was lawfully on the property as a business invitee on or about October 13, 2024. While on the premises, the complaint claims, Tonietto slipped and fell on a ramp and sustained serious bodily injuries.

The complaint alleges the ramp was dangerous because its walking surface was unreasonably slick. The filing also claims the ramp lacked adequate slip resistance or had unsafe surface materials, design issues, maintenance problems, excessive slope, inadequate non-slip treatment, deterioration, or other dangerous conditions.

Tonietto’s lawsuit includes three counts.

The first count is a negligence claim against ISRAM Delray JV. The complaint alleges ISRAM had a duty to maintain the premises in a reasonably safe condition and warn invitees about dangerous concealed conditions that were known or should have been known.

The lawsuit claims ISRAM breached those alleged duties by creating or permitting a dangerous condition involving the ramp, failing to remove or remedy the condition within a reasonable time, failing to conduct reasonable inspections, and failing to warn Tonietto.

The second count is a negligence claim against Unknown Party #1. The complaint describes Unknown Party #1 as an agent, employee, representative, or contractor of ISRAM Delray JV who was allegedly acting within the course and scope of that role.

The third count is a vicarious liability claim against ISRAM Delray JV. Through that count, the lawsuit alleges ISRAM is responsible for the conduct of Unknown Party #1.

The complaint claims Tonietto suffered bodily injuries, pain and suffering, mental pain and suffering, loss of income, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, medical expenses, and other damages. The lawsuit also claims the injuries are permanent and continuing in nature.

Tonietto is seeking damages in excess of $50,000, plus costs. The complaint also includes a demand for a jury trial.

The allegations remain claims in a civil court filing and have not been proven in court.
