DANIA BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Crime Scene Units are investigating a murder in Dania Beach after a man was shot and later died at a hospital.
The shooting was reported at about 9:14 p.m. Friday, April 10, near the 800 block of Northwest Second Street, according to BSO.
Investigators said the preliminary investigation found the victim, Cardal Wyche, was shot following an altercation with several people.

BSO deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to the area and found Wyche suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, BSO said. Paramedics transported him to Broward Health Medical Center. He was pronounced deceased at 9:44 p.m.
The case is being handled by BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene Units. BSO is asking anyone with information about the shooting or the subject(s) involved to contact BSO Homicide Det. Kevin White at 954-321-4215.
