BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Tickets are now on sale for Bacchus Beckons, the signature kickoff celebration for Boca Bacchanal 2026, the annual wine and culinary series presented by Publix that benefits the Boca Raton Historical Society and supports heritage education and historic preservation in the city.

This year marks the 23rd Annual Boca Bacchanal, a long-running Boca Raton fundraising tradition that brings together vintners, chefs, and food and wine fans for a lineup of events that stretch from late February into April, ending with The Grand Tasting at The Addison.

Bacchus Beckons is set for Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at 6 p.m. inside Saks Fifth Avenue at Town Center at Boca Raton. Organizers are pitching it as an elegant, social start to the season, with fine wine and gourmet bites in a retail setting that doubles as a party venue for the night.

The kickoff event also serves a practical purpose for longtime Bacchanal regulars and first-timers trying to plan ahead. The evening includes the official unveiling of the 2026 Vintner Dinner pairings, announcing the hosts, locations, chefs, and wineries behind the private, limited-seat dinners later in the season.

“Boca Bacchanal is more than a premier culinary experience — it’s a celebration of community and a meaningful way to support the preservation of Boca Raton’s history,” said Olivia Hollaus, executive director of the Boca Raton Historical Society. Hollaus said Bacchus Beckons helps set the tone for the season and gives guests an early look at the upcoming dinner pairings.

New this year, organizers are also adding a Co-Chairs Dinner on March 18, 2026, described as an intimate, one-night experience hosted at The Addison by event co-chairs Zoe Lanham, Rebecca Demonte, and Gloria Hosh. The dinner is planned as a multi-course evening by The Addison Head Chef Patrick Duffy, paired with wines presented by a featured vintner. Seating is capped at 20 guests, with the event framed as a small-scale, high-touch dinner under The Addison’s banyan trees.

The season’s centerpiece private events — the Vintner Dinners — return on April 9 and April 10, 2026, with two nights of dinners hosted in private residences and historic Boca Raton venues. The format is familiar to anyone who has followed the event over the years: five-course menus created by local chefs, paired with wines presented by internationally recognized vintners, all staged in settings that are intentionally limited and not built for a large crowd.

Tickets for the Vintner Dinners are scheduled to go on sale Feb. 26, 2026, the same night as Bacchus Beckons, which is likely to matter to buyers who plan their spring calendar around these dinners and the Grand Tasting.

The season culminates with The Grand Tasting on April 12, 2026, running 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Addison. Organizers describe it as Boca Raton’s premier wine and food event, with more than 200 offerings including premium wines, Champagnes, craft beers, and spirits, plus culinary bites from local chefs and The Addison’s culinary team.

The Grand Tasting also includes a Silent Auction with luxury packages that organizers say will range from rare wines and golf outings to dining experiences, travel offerings, and a raffle prize built around a $2,500 Saks Fifth Avenue shopping spree, along with additional items expected to be announced closer to the event.

A list of participating wineries released with the ticket announcement includes: 12 Linajes, Amity Vineyards, Baileyana, Black Stallion, Bodega Fin Del Mundo, Bodegas Pujanza, Bodegas Urbina, Chakras Wine, Château de Berne, Christopher Michael Wines, Clos du Val, Diora Wines, Francis Ford Coppola Winery, Here By Chance, Icon Rock Wines, JP Chenet, Kings Ridge, Lake & Vine, Luna Nuda, Moillard, Mosquita Muerta Wines, Oliver Winery, Quady Winery, San Sebastian Winery, Trapiche, and Underwood, with more expected to be added.

Proceeds from Boca Bacchanal benefit the Boca Raton Historical Society and The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum.
