David Alfonso Sosa Arrested For Murder

POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — BSO detectives arrested David Sosa for the shooting death of a man in Pompano Beach last June.

BSO responded to the shooting near 251 South Dixie Highway in Pompano Beach at 6:24 PM on Friday, June 20th, 2023. There, deputies found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims passed away at the scene. The other was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, BSO developed David Sosa as a suspect for the shooting death of a man in Pompano Beach we reported on in June of 2023. Detectives say that Sosa was arrested in Mobile, Alabama on an arrest warrant for the murder.

While the investigation is ongoing, the shooting was said to be originally over a debt.
