WELLINGTON, FL (Boca Post) — A Wellington man was arrested for voyeurism after he was caught using his cell phone to record a woman in a fitting room at the Wellington Green Mall on Sunday, February 26th, 2023.

A woman said she was changing in a fitting room at Forever 21 located in the Wellington Green Mall when she observed a cell phone under the stall pointing up at her.

According to an arrest affidavit submitted by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, the woman, who was only wearing underwear, said she immediately screamed and put her clothes back on. The woman then chased after the man who she suspected was filming her with his cell phone.

Deputies say that the victim was able to identify the man as Juan Carlos Rojas. Deputies made contact with Rojas who admitted to the incident and showed deputies what he has recorded with his cell phone.

Juan Carlos Rojas was arrested for video voyeurism.
