BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton attorney has been arrested and charged with DUI according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

A Boca Raton criminal defense attorney has been arrested by the Boca Raton Police Department. Boca Post has been notified that the charge filed is “DUI-UNLAW BLD ALCH – DUI DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR PERSON OF ANOTHER”.

The well-known defense attorney with an office located in Boca Raton has a website, that says he spends a lot of time defending others for similar charges in courtrooms.

According to the arrest affidavit, the attorney was involved in a collision near Palmetto Park Road and Dixie Highway where he was found to be at fault. The arresting officer reports that the attorney had bloodshot/watery eyes and noted the smell of “alcohol” from his breath. The attorney admitted to the officer that he had two beers at Flanigan’s approximately 30 minutes prior to the accident.

The attorney refused to conduct any field sobriety exercises and later refused to provide a breath sample. The attorney was arrested and transported to Boca Raton Regional Hospital and then to the Palm Beach County Jail.

The attorney was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail early Monday morning and released hours later without bond.
