Unidentified Woman Struck By Car, Killed In West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — An unidentified woman is dead after she was struck by a car in West Palm Beach on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023.

According to PBSO, an unidentified white woman, said to be between 50 and 65 years old, was observed by a witness crossing North Military Trail, in the 800 block from east to west.

At the same time, a Toyota Sienna was traveling southbound on North Military Trail , within the inside lane approaching the 800 blocks.

As the vehicle continued southbound within the inside lane of travel, the pedestrian was observed crossing into the inside lane where she began walking directly toward oncoming traffic, and was subsequently struck by the Sienna.

During a collision, the unidentified woman was vaulted into the air before subsequently coming to final rest within the inside lane of travel of southbound North Military Trail.

The vehicle was brought to a controlled rest immediately after the collision, within the inside left-hand turn lane of North Military Trail.

The unidentified woman was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

On 6/23/23 at 2:16 p.m., the woman, who remains to be unidentified, succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.
