WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate have filed a new civil complaint in Palm Beach County seeking a court order requiring X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to disclose identifying information tied to anonymous accounts they say defamed them over several years.

The case, Tristan Tate and Andrew Tate v. X, Corp. (f/k/a Twitter), was filed March 4, 2026, in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, under Case No. 502026CA002555XXXAMB. The complaint was filed by Equity Legal, PLLC, which is listed for the plaintiffs. No defense law firm appears on the complaint itself.

The filing is not a damages complaint against X. Instead, it is styled as a complaint for pure bill of discovery, a type of action the plaintiffs say is intended to obtain information needed to identify unnamed defendants before pursuing claims against them. According to the complaint, the Tates allege that several anonymous X users used the platform to publish defamatory statements directed into Florida and that X has the subscriber information needed to identify them.

According to the complaint, Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate describe themselves as social media influencers with ties to Florida, particularly Palm Beach County. The filing identifies X Corp. as the successor to Twitter, Inc., and says the company maintains its principal place of business in San Francisco. The complaint also alleges Palm Beach County is the proper venue because the cause of action accrued there and because X does business in Florida.

The complaint says the plaintiffs are trying to identify several so-called Doe defendants tied to X handles that allegedly posted repeated defamatory statements about them. The filing names accounts including @crayonmurders, @Therealsuzywyn1x, @Gadget44027447, @frmthebroknside, @Avalon1T, @Mad_About_Sheep, @C_S_SKEPTIC, @THOTSANDPLAYERS, @usamabroad, @mireillemannee, and @lucymarionbrown. According to the complaint, those accounts and others are alleged to have accused the brothers of crimes including rape and human trafficking, among other statements the plaintiffs characterize as defamatory. Those allegations are claims made by the plaintiffs and have not been proven in court.

The filing also says the Tates previously brought a Palm Beach County defamation case against Doe defendants arising from the same alleged statements. According to the new complaint, that earlier case was dismissed as to the Doe defendants after a challenge to the use of unnamed parties, and the plaintiffs now contend they have no other way to learn the users’ identities except through discovery from X.

In the new case, the plaintiffs say they are seeking limited subscriber information only. The complaint states they want the names, addresses, and other contact information associated with the accounts so they can identify the proper defendants and pursue an existing defamation action. The complaint asks the court to order X to disclose that information.

The original complaint, Tristan Tate and Andrew Tate v. X, Corp. (f/k/a Twitter), Case No. 502026CA002555XXXAMB, as filed March 4, 2026, with the Michael A. Caruso, Clerk of Court, can be viewed at the Palm Beach Clerk of Courts.
