Wayne Doucet, 39, Passed Away

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — 39-year-old Wayne Doucet was killed in a motorcycle crash in West Palm Beach early on Saturday morning.

PBSO deputies responded to the scene of an accident near Okeechobee Boulevard and the Turnpike at about 4:30 AM on Saturday, June 17th, 2023. There, first responders found a motorcyclist, identified as Wayne Doucet, had just crashed into a semi-truck.

Investigators with the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office say that Doucet was traveling westbound on Okeechobee Blvd when the accident happened. At the same time, a semi-truck was making an eastbound turn onto Okeechobee Blvd from the Florida Turnpike.

Detectives say that Doucet had a red traffic signal and the truck had a green traffic signal. Doucet failed to stop for the traffic signal and impacted the truck behind the steer axle (Semi Tractor) at the fuel tank. Both vehicles came to final rest in the intersection

Doucet was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

PBSO indicates that Alcohol/Drugs may be a factor in the crash which happened only a day after Doucet’s 39th birthday.
