Bicyclist Struck By Car, Killed In Lake Worth

James Lindelof Passed Away

LAKE WORTH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — 41-year-old James Lindelof was struck by a car, killed in Lake Worth early on Tuesday morning.

PBSO and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle accident near the 2300 block of 10th Avenue in suburban Lake Worth just before 6 AM on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023.

According to traffic homicide investigators with the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, 41-year-old James Lindelof was crossing the street near the 2300 block of 10th Ave N. Investigators tell Boca Post that Lindelof was not crossing near a crosswalk.

At the same time, Luz Daisy Velasquez was driving a Toyota Corolla westbound on 10th Ave N. Lindelof was struck by the front bumper and front quarter panel of the Corolla. Lindelof  was vaulted over the quarter panel and came to rest in the turn lane. Lindelof was pronounced deceased at the scene.
