TAMARAC, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) —  At approximately 10:10 p.m. this evening, Dec. 31, Broward County Regional Communications received a report of a shooting in the 7900 block of Northwest 71st Avenue in Tamarac.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Tamarac Fire Rescue responded.

On scene, deputies located a teenage male who had been shot. He was transported to a hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. An adult female also suffered a gunshot wound and was treated on scene. An adult male was detained on scene.

BSO’s Violent Crimes and Crime Scene units are investigating.
