A proposed 12-story hotel and retail redevelopment south of Mizner Park heads to the Boca Raton City Council on Monday with opposition from nearby Tower 155 residents and questions about how the incoming council majority may respond.
Boca Raton’s Planning and Zoning Board voted 6-0 to recommend approval of the proposed 12-story Mizner Plaza hotel and retail project, adding conditions related to Tower 155 construction monitoring.
A joint venture led by Boca Raton developers secured a $74 million construction loan to build The Aletto, a mixed-use office and retail complex near Mizner Park in downtown Boca Raton.
