POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — A woman was killed in Pompano Beach after she was involved in an accident with a Brightline Train while riding her Scooter on Copans Road.

Broward Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as 27-year-old Jacob Bresnahan of Lighthouse Point. According to investigators, Bresnahan drove around the railway safety arms in his 2015 Dodge Ram when he was struck by the oncoming Brightline train.
