Florida Highway Patrol and U.S. Border Patrol said a March 9 operation in Key Largo resulted in the arrest of 15 people unlawfully present in the United States, all of whom authorities said had criminal histories.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Office had to process the arrest of two of their own early Saturday morning. Monroe Counter Sheriff’s Deputies Connor Curry and Trevor Pike were arrested by Key West Police Department after the two of them were allegedly involved in a brawl with a group of Sailors which led one of them needing to be airlifted for medical assistance.
