PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL — We know when PBSO is going to conduct Safety Belt and Child Safety Restraint enforcement.

The Sheriff’s Office in Palm Beach County will be conducting a countywide operation on Friday, January 5, 2024, focused on ensuring that occupants are properly protected.

The main objective of this initiative is to enforce the strict adherence to Florida State Statutes regarding the use of seat belts and child safety restraints. Additionally, it aims to raise awareness among the public about the potential risks associated with not wearing seat belts or properly securing children in car seats with safety belts.

This enforcement campaign will primarily take place on major roads in Western Palm Beach County.

The operation will be active from noon until 6;00 pm.

Boca Post will follow up and let you know how many people were “educated” by this enforcement campaign.
