Man Dies After Falling Off Scooter In Greenacres

GREENACRES, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — Briand Taguinod fell off of an electric scooter and died early on Thursday morning in Greenacres.

PBSO deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident at the area of Jog Road and Foxtrail Drive at 6:38 AM on Thursday, June 8th, 2023.

First arriving deputies found 54-year-old Briand Taguinod had just fallen off of his electric scooter. Investigators say that Taguinod was traveling northbound on Jog Road and lost control of the scooter while approaching the intersection of Foxtrail Drive. Taguinod was ejected and impacted onto the pavement. He was not wearing a helmet and sustained a head injury.

Taguinod was transported to a local hospital, before being admitted to a Hospice Center. Taguinod succumbed to his head injuries on June 14th, 2023.
