OAKLAND PARK, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — A tragic incident occurred in Oakland Park as an 18 year old man named Ammon Watson was fatally shot. Law enforcement officers from the Broward Sheriff’s Office are currently looking into the details of this unfortunate event. The shooting took place around noon on August 24th near Northwest 28th Street in Oakland Park. Emergency services responded promptly, but unfortunately, the victim did not survive his injuries. The authorities have launched a thorough investigation into this heartbreaking incident.

Investigators reported that the assailant approached the victim while he was in the driveway of a family residence and fired at him. The assailant then fled on foot.
