BSO Seeking Suspect In Golf Cart Heist

NORTH LAUDERDALE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — BSO says is looking for a man who they say stole a golf cart from a North Lauderdale business broad daylight.

The detectives, from the North Lauderdale District of Broward Sheriffs Office are seeking assistance in identifying and locating a man who was captured on video stealing an E Z GO® golf cart from a business, in North Lauderdale.

The incident took place on Friday, August 11th in the vicinity of the 1500 block of South State Road 7. The surveillance footage shows the thief wearing a colored NASA shirt and dark NASA shorts entering the business premises. The culprit approached the E Z GO® cart put it into reverse and backed it into a bush before shifting gears and driving away. As he left the property his departure was recorded on video when he struck the exit gate with the four vehicle.

Although local authorities recovered the stolen golf cart six days later in Coconut Creek they have yet to locate the thief who was clearly caught on camera.
