BOCA RATON, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Two teenage boys are in critical condition this morning after being transported to the hospital following a car versus tree crash on Montoya Circle in unincorporated Boca Raton just after midnight.
Sources close to the incident tell Boca Post that first responders had to cut the top off the vehicle to get one of the 16-year-old boys out. Both boys were transferred to Delray Medical Center as priority trauma alerts. The injuries sustained from the accident include penetrating injuries, lacerations, as well as facial trauma.
A reader who lives in the area tells Boca Post that he believes speed was the factor in this accident, noting that this kind of damage isn’t possible at the posted 30mph speed limit. The reader tells us that this residential neighborhood is subject to constant speeding.
