LAKE WORTH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — 18-year-old Daniel Munevar passed away after a deadly dirt bike accident in unincorporated Lake Worth area.

The deadly accident happened at a “non-functioning” golf course at Lyons Road and Lantana Road at around 5 PM on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024.

According to PBSO traffic homicide investigators, Daniel Munevar, 18, was driving northward across the grass on a non operational golf course when Nicholas Silva, 14, approached from the south. Due to obstructing vegetation in the area, both drivers failed to notice each other until it was too late to prevent the collision. The front ends of their vehicles collided during the crash, leading to both riders being thrown from their vehicles and landing on the ground where they came to a stop. Sadly, Munevar succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. Silva was rushed to Delray Medical Center for emergency surgery and is currently in critical condition.

Earlier in February, Boca Post reported on another deadly dirt bike crash that killed 13-year-old Kareem Hodge in Loxahatchee.
