LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who grabbed cash from a cashier during a robbery at a Walgreens in Lake Worth Beach on Tuesday night.

Deputies said the robbery happened around 7:55 p.m. on November 18, 2025, at the Walgreens in the 500 block of South Dixie Highway. According to investigators, a man walked in during a routine transaction, reached over, and forcibly took cash straight out of the cashier’s hand before bolting out of the store on foot. PBSO released the details in a public notice seeking leads.

The suspect is described as a Black male with a thin build, standing roughly 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt with the words “Blood Donor,” black shorts, and red sneakers.

Detectives are hoping someone recognizes him, either from the clothing or the description. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Lowmaster at [email protected] or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS. Tipsters can stay anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.

PBSO says investigators are continuing to review evidence and follow leads, and the agency typically releases surveillance images if available. No injuries were reported, but the store briefly paused operations while deputies gathered statements and checked surrounding areas.

The Walgreens sits along a busy stretch just south of downtown Lake Worth Beach, an area with steady evening foot traffic and several small businesses. Cash-grab robberies are uncommon at pharmacies in this corridor, though deputies have responded to other robbery calls in the past along nearby blocks of Dixie Highway.

Anyone who was in the area Tuesday night and saw something — even small details like clothing, direction of travel, or a possible vehicle — is encouraged to come forward.
