BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — Waynen Wilde of Kings Point in Delray Beach has been arrested and charged with two counts of battery on persons 65 or older, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Waynen Wilde, 75, of Capri F in the Kings Point community located in Delray Beach, has been arrested early Wednesday morning by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office. Boca Post has been notified that Wilde has been charged with two counts of “BATTERY – ON PERSON 65 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER”.

According to an arrest affidavit submitted by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call late on Tuesday evening. Deputies say that they spoke to the victim who says that her husband, Waynen Wilde, had just battered her.

The victim told deputies that Waynen had just gotten released from the hospital and upon returning home he immediately began drinking. The victim also told deputies that when Waynen drinks he becomes aggressive towards her. The victim reports that when she confronted Waynen about his drinking, he got upset and then struck her in the face. Waynen then allegedly pushed her down and held her there until she was able to free herself from his grasp. Once free, the victim ran to her room and called 9-1-1.

Even though Wilde is over the age of 65 himself, he is still charged with the enhanced felony charge of battery on a 65+.
