WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — A man was improperly crossing Military Trail when he was struck and killed by a car on Saturday night.
According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a car accident at the 2000 block of S. Military Trail in unincorporated West Palm Beach at 10:18 PM on Saturday, June 10th, 2023.
According to deputies, a Mercedes E350 was traveling southbound on S Military Trail in the outside lane. At the same time, 71-year-old Kevin O’Bryan was improperly crossing S Military Trail from east to west, not in a crosswalk.
The driver of the Mercedes was not able to see O’Bryan crossing since he was wearing dark/non-reflective clothing. The Mercedes struck the right side of O’Bryan causing him to hit the hood and front windshield of the Mercedes.
O’Bryan was pronounced deceased on the scene by PBSO Deputies.
