Janet Walsh Of Boynton Beach Passed Away After Being Run Over

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that they are investigating an accident involving a fatality after a 34-year-old reportedly laid down behind a vehicle as it backed out of a parking spot.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that at approximately 1:03 PM on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022, deputies responded to the Wells Fargo parking lot located at 9990 Military Trail in Boynton Beach.

Responding PBSO district deputies and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue located a 34-year-old woman, identified as Janet Walsh, who had been run over by a Honda Civic.

PBSO Traffic Homicide Unit detectives were notified and began an investigation into the incident. Detectives tell us that a driver was attempting to back out of a parking space in the Wells Fargo parking lot.

At the same time, Walsh laid down behind/next to the vehicle before it backed. The driver did not see Walsh and ran her over while backing. Walsh was transported to Delray Medical Center with injuries. Walsh passed away a month later on October 12th, 2022 from injuries sustained in the accident.
