BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton woman has been killed in a car accident near the Walmart entrance on Palmetto Park Road in West Boca Raton on Wednesday afternoon.

PBSO Traffic Homicide investigators tell Boca Post that the two-car collision occurred on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022 at approximately 12:30 PM.

The driver of a 2007 RAV-4, identified as 79-year-old Barbara Murphy from Boca Raton, was traveling westbound in the left turn lane within the 9900 blk Palmetto Park Road attempting to turn left into the Walmart Parking lot.

The driver of a 2022 Infinity Q60, identified as 20-year-old David Robinson from Atlanta, GA, was traveling eastbound in the outside lane of travel on Palmetto Park Road approaching the entrance to Walmart.

As Robinson neared the entrance, the Murphy made a left turn in front of Robinson. The front of Robinson’s Infinity crashed into the front passenger corner of Murphy’s RAV-4.

Murphy was transported to Delray Medical Center where she was later pronounced deceased.
