The V.I.P.E.R investigators from the Browad Sheriffs Office arrested another individual in connection with the killing of a mother and her daughter on the Turnpike last June of last yearl The diligent work of BSO homicide detectives led to the identification of 20 year Kamarri Sanders as the third person involved in the deadly shooting incidentl On Friday February 7thl BSO V.I.P.E.R investigators successfully apprehended Sanders, in Miami Gardens. He was later taken to BSOs Main Jail for processinglDecember V.I.P.E.R investigators from BSO apprehended Antoine Harris and Jaquan Thomas for the tragic deaths of Beatrice Saintvil and her four year old daughter Janelle Souffrant in a double homicide case.In the course of an investigation that spanned several months the BSO homicide detectives pinpointed Harris and Thomas as the individuals linked to the fatal shooting.On a Wednesday in December 18th the investigators secured warrants for their apprehension.Subsequently on Friday December 20th V.I.P.E.R investigators from BSO located. Took Harris into custody, in Miami Gardens.He was later transferred to BSOs Main Jail for processing. Thomas is currently in jail in Georgia for issues and will also be sent back to Broward County soonest possible.The incident started around 11 ;50 p.m. on Friday night of June 7th where Florida Highway Patrol ( FHP ) said they responded to a shooting report on Florida Turnpike northbound near Mile Marker 49 not far from Hollywood Boulevard.The initial investigation showed that shots were fired around 11 ;14 p.m.FHP troopers found Saintvil and her daughter wounded inside a vehicle, at that location. The car was parked on the shoulder of the road when Hollywood Fire Rescue arrived at the scene and took Saintvil to a nearby hospital where she passed away later on. Unfortunately her daughter was declared dead at the location. BSO homicide detectives took charge of the investigation at FHPs behest. In June of year the reward for any details that could lead to an arrest, in the tragic case of the mother and childs deaths was raised to $20k. The ATF increased the reward by $10k to match the amount offered in the case involving Sanders and two others—Harris and Thomas—charged with two first degree murder counts.
