On April 14th of 2025 the Broward Sheriffs Office upholds the core value of providing service. By reviewing the 2023–2024 Annual Report the community can witness how this principle guides over 5​​500 staff members in their duties. In the year of 2023–2024 there was significant growth and success for BSO as they made impressive strides in improving public safety with innovative training initiatives and incorporating advanced technology The completion of BSOs Research Development and Training Center stood out as a major achievement for the year “An important milestone, for BSOs advancement was the unveiling of our cutting edge Research Development and Training Center.””This center enhances our teamwork, in training and prepares our emergency responders better for the public safety issues we face today ” stated Sheriff Dr.Gregory Tony.“Moreover we’ve brought in resources to boost evidence examination enrich suspect monitoring and enhance the effectiveness of our emergency response activities.Our hardworking first responders and civilian staff have shown dedication to our core value of delivering top notch service.”
