On May 16 of 2025 detectives from Broward Sheriff’s Office in North Lauderdale are sharing surveillance footage of two incidents where two different groups stole from supermarkets. They are asking for help from the public in identifying and locating these individuals. The video link shows boosters caught shoplifting baby formula at a Publix Super Market located at 8140 Road, in North Lauderdale around 9 ;35 p.m.on Tuesday March 25. Would you like a selfie ?Detectives reported that one of the people paused to snap a selfie before making off with around $970 worth of baby formula alongside her partners, in crime. Surveillance footage captured them taking items from the store shelves and discreetly stashing them in their bags. After leaving the store they were caught boarding a colored sedan to make their getaway. The individual who took the selfie was dressed in all white. Was carrying a brown paper bag when last seen.The second person was wearing a colored hoodie and gray pants with unknown colored slides while also holding a brown paper bag The third person was dressed in a black shirt and gray hoodie with yellow pants and mysterious slides while carrying a purple handbag; the fourth person wore an all black ensemble with white patterns and carried a baby as well as a white and black handbag Investigators suspect that these individuals have been involved in similar criminal activities, throughout Florida. The messy escape plan didn’t go as planned when a hygiene theft was captured in a video link https;//app.box.com/file18624596270827?s=zkfaepepdyngokndtknxuhl Detectives have also shared surveillance footage of someone leaving the store with a cart full of items they didn’t pay for; however it’s worth noting that these two incidents are unrelated to each other. The incident took place around 14 minutes, past 02 PM Friday, April 11th. Investigators stated that a woman with an identity donning a colorful headscarf and sporting a yellow sleeveless top paired with light jeans and white sneakers committed theft at the Publix Super Market located on McNab Road by taking Angel Soft and Charmin bath tissues along with Cottonelle wipes and various Clorox products and laundry detergents from the store shelves illegally. Additionally capturing a trash can as part of the stolen loot is under suspicion by investigators based on their observations, in video footage where the female suspect is seen leisurely strolling through store aisles while loading up her shopping cart unlawfully. Another person in a shirt and black pants was also spotted getting empty grocery bags. The second individual approached the one and helped carry items in the bags before grabbing the full shopping cart and leaving the store. According to detectives reports the woman in an outfit got into a gray Nissan Altima with a female driver before driving away from the scene.
