The detectives from the Traffic Homicide Unit of Broward Sheriff’s Office are currently looking into a hit and run incident that resulted in the death of a man in the early hours of Tuesday morning. As explained by the detectives themselves. At around 12;53 specifically on Tuesday 8th July. A report was received by Broward County Regional Communications regarding a traffic collision that caused injuries along the 600 block of North Powerline Road in Pompano Beach. Subsequently to this report being received by authorities; deputies from Broward Sheriff’s Office and emergency responders, from Pompano Beach Fire Rescue quickly arrived at the scene to address the situation. An initial examination showed that a man on foot was hit by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene on Southbound North Powerline Road, near Northwest Sixth Street in an incident where paramedics sadly confirmed the pedestrians passing at the site of the accident as investigations continue.
