High-Speed Joy Ride Ends In Davie

DAVIE, FL (Boca Post) — Broward Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that two suspects are in custody after a high-speed joy ride ends in Davie near Orange Drive and Griffin Road just before 5 PM on Wednesday afternoon.

From Broward Sheriff’s Office:

Shortly after 4:56 p.m., the Broward Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit identified a stolen vehicle out of Orlando in unincorporated Central Broward. A BOLO (Be On The Lookout) was issued. As deputies attempted to further investigate, the driver of the vehicle fled and took to the highway at a high rate of speed crossing multiple jurisdictions. The vehicle eventually came to a stop near Griffin Road and Orange Drive in Davie. Two subjects were taken into custody without incident.
