After an inquiry conducted by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Gang Investigations Task Force and with support, from various law enforcement agencies involved in the operation ten alleged senior figures of a notorious criminal organization have been apprehended on charges linked to racketeering. For the three years investigators from the Gang Task Force, at BSO have been looking into the notorious Sex, Money, Murder Blood gang and found that two high ranking members lived in Broward County. Using their techniques the Gang Task Force managed to uncover the statewide leaders of the gang and financial assets linked to the group. They found other crimes involved as well such as illegal gun trafficking and drug trafficking (involving cannabis, methamphetamine and fentanyl) fraud activities organizing criminal gang activities and plotting murder schemes in Florida. Moreover investigators stumbled upon a list of targets that the gang members aimed to harm and managed to alert them ultimately preventing any harm to the individuals lives. Arrest warrants were filed back in March.
